"Exploratorii Spatiului" - "Space Explorers", Bucuresti, B

Elevii Scolii cu Clasele I-VIII Nr. 195 din Bucuresti, coordonati de doamna profesoara de fizica Florentina Iofciu, au participat la evenimentul "Exploratorii Spatiului" dedicat Saptamanii Mondiale a Spatiului Cosmic. Elevii au construit rachetomodele si avioane din materiale reciclabile, si-au imbogatit cunostintele despre Sistemul Solar, au desenat o emblema si au afisat prezentari powerpoint dedicate spatiului.

The students from School No 195 from Bucharest, coordinated by their Physics teacher, Florentina Iofciu, contributed to the "Space Explorers" event dedicated to the World Space Week. They built rocket and plane models from recyclable materials, enriched their knowledge about our Solar System ,drew a mission patch, and made power point presentations related to space.

-Rocketry : students made paper rockets, bubble rockets and a NASA model Water Rocket launched on Saturday 10th of October.
-Models on the Cities of the Future made by paper, plastic, wood and Lego pieces.
-a Solar System Model made by coloured balls

-paintings
-a volcano on a new discovered planet.
In the classroom we discussed about our Solar System, planets, rocket launch , how astronauts live in space on ISS and the possibility to find life on other planets.
Preparing for this activity students used :
-NASA materials and tools from Space Academy for Educators 2007 Space Camp and Rocket center in Huntsville Alabama.
-Materials from CSET Center for Science Education and Training IFIN Magurele
