Simpozion - Symposium, Petrosani, HD

The I.G.Duca School of Petrosani, Hunedoara County, led by Principal Alexandru Lautaru, organized a symposium about planets and black holes dedicated to the World Space Week.

The project’s team was coordinated by Camelia Stanoi, Ph.D, and comprised prof. Cecilia Dubiczki, prof. Nicoleta Demeter, prof. Valeria Buiama, prof. Roxana Stan, prof. Gergely Irma, prof. Magdalena Niculescu, prof. Eugen Bencau, prof. Bolea Cristian, and laboratory assistant Marinela Straja. The event has its own website, spaceweek.ucoz.org, administered by prof. Camelia Stanoi and prof. Alexandru Lautaru, and by students Bogdan Murgila, Cristian Schuszter and Vlad Niculescu.

Several of these works were presented on the WSW sympisium at county level in Deva.

The event coordinator at the IG Duca school believes that "a week is too short; children liked a lot to find out all about space, and it might be a good idea to have a “space month”, instead of space week".
