"The Universe Begins with U" - "Houston, we have a Takeoff", Bucuresti, B

Coordinated by Ioana Stoica, this event dedicated to the World Space Week was organized at the “Tudor Vianu” National High School of Computer Science in Bucharest and consisted of a ROCKET MODEL CHALLENGE. Students were encouraged to create their own projects and designs, using, as much as possible, recyclable materials. Furthermore, a presentation of the progress made in aeronautics over the years was featured. The committee comprised the physics department, Luca Iliesiu, and Catalin Ene Munteanu.
