"The Man- a Traveller in Universe", Stefan Odobleja High School, Bucharest, B

In intervalul 5 - 10 octombrie 2009, cu ocazia World Space Week, elevi din Liceul Teoretic "Stefan Odobleja"-Bucuresti s-au implicat in diverse activitati, sub coordonarea doamnelor Marilena Viziru -profesor de Fizica si Aurora Ignat -profesor de Arte Plastice:
- elevi din clasele a V-a, a V-a a VI-a si a VIII-a au realizat o serie de desene cu tema "Omul- un Calator prin Univers".Aceste lucrari au fost expuse pe holurile liceului
- un grup de elevi din clasele a IX-a si a X-a a participat la programul de Planetariu organizat la Observatorul Astronomic "Amiral Vasile Urseanu"
- cu ajutorul unui planetariu mobil, elevi din clasa a X-a au identificat obiecte ceresti vizibile din curtea liceului
- elevi din clasele a IX-a, a X-a si a XI-a au realizat prezentari power point cu temele:"Sistemul Solar", "Omul si Universul", "Luna", "NASA si ESA- obiective si misiuni"
- elevii din clasele de liceu au fost incantati sa exploreze bolta cereasca cu Stellarium, sa calatoreasca in Univers si sa viziteze planetele din Sistemul Solar cu Mitaka, sa se joace si sa invete astronomie cu Thinking Worlds - un soft educational.


The students have turned their ideas and dreams about the Universe and space travels into images under guidance of Professor of Visual Arts, Mrs. Aurora Ignat. The works were exhibited in the school halls
A group of IXth and Xth grade students, participated in Planetarium program, organized by "Amiral Vasile Urseanu” Astronomical Observatory. With a Personal Planetarium, the tenth grade students identified celestial bodies visible from the school’s yard on the evening of October 9th.
A series of power point presentations was made on the following topics: "Solar System", "The Man and the Universe", "The Moon", "NASA and ESA - objectives and missions" by the IXth , Xth and XIth grade students.
High School students were excited to explore the sky with Stellarium, to travel in Universe and visit The Planets from The Solar Sistem with Mitaka and to play and learn Astronomy with Thinking Worlds -computer game.
